Mac OS User Tabbing
For Mac OS users, there is a system setting that may not allow you to tab onto several types of elements in a web page. To change this setting:
Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:
Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.
Additional settings for Safari Browser.
Open Safari Preferences:
Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.
Students and families at Knollwood Elementary School recently enjoyed a fun-filled evening of STEM and art activities at Tech & Art Night! The event included a variety hands-on tech games and challenges to explore, and artwork from all K-3 students was showcased throughout the building. Those in attendance enjoyed programming robots, building circuits, creating their own pinback buttons, and browsing the art gallery. Thanks to digital literacy teacher Lelia Brennan and art teacher Beth Tripod for coordinating this great night.
