Art Leap Optional Activity:

Many famous artists keep journals or sketchbooks where they record their thoughts, feelings, and inspirations. These thoughts fuel their artwork and can help make them better artists. During this time, you have the option of keeping a journal or sketchbook where you record your own ideas to keep as inspiration for your art. You can record your thoughts, feelings, ideas, sketches, likes and dislikes, use it to keep track of your moods and activities.

You can make your own journal or sketchbook in an existing notebook/paper pad, or staple a bunch of papers together. To get you started, click here for a journal template you can print and fill out, or use for ideas on what to write.

Try to make an entry in your book at least once a week on your Art Leap day, though every day is better to gather more inspiration!

Happy Journaling!
