Question: Where and when were you born?
I was born on October 17th in Rahway, NJ

Q: What is the name of your elementary school?
I went to McGinn elementary school, K-5 in Scotch Plains-Fanwood, NJ.

Q: Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My favorite teacher was my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Born. He made class so much fun and talked to me about life skills beyond education. 

Q: What do you like most about Knollwood School?
The thing that I like most about Knollwood is that every day offers a new challenge and I get to work with a great group of students, staff and faculty.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
I love that every day offers a new challenge and every day at least one student makes me laugh or smile.

Q: What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is blue.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
My favorite thing to do in my spare time is to coach youth sports. (Soccer & wrestling)

Q: What is the best advice you can give young people?
The best advice that I can give a young person is to Think for yourself,
Find your PASSION and give 100%.

Q: What is your favorite book?
I don

T necessarily have one favorite book however, my favorite author is Khaled Hosseini which wrote the Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid suns and The Mountains Echoed.
Q:  If you could meet anyone in history, who would it, be?
If I could meet anyone it would be Muhammad Ali. He is such an important figure who helped me love sports.

Q: What is your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is any kind of meatloaf.

Q: What is your favorite vacation?
My favorite vacations have been to Cozumel, Mexico and Aruba. I love visiting other places with family and friends.

Q: Do you have anything else you’d like to say?
I love my job and I am so thankful for being recognized as Knollwood‘s teacher of the year.  Words can’t say how grateful I am for the support of my students, student’s parents and colleagues. Thank you to all that have shaped my career!
